Terms of Service

The short version

evntally is a paid monthly membership ($2.99 CAD/month) that sends you a personalized weekly email of local events. You can cancel anytime. We curate event information from public sources — we don't sell tickets or guarantee event details. Be a decent human when using the service.

1. What evntally is

evntally is a personalized event discovery and curation service. We aggregate event information from publicly available sources, match events to your preferences, and deliver them to you via a weekly email digest and a web-based discover page.

We are not a ticketing platform. We link to third-party ticket sellers and venue pages. Your ticket purchase is between you and that seller — we are not a party to that transaction.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and accurate city information
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• One account per person — accounts are not transferable
• You must be at least 16 years old to use evntally

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. When you cancel:

• You keep access until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made
• Your preferences and saved events are retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe
• After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion

5. Price changes

We may change our subscription price in the future. If we do, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. If you don't agree with the new price, you can cancel before it applies.

6. Event information accuracy

We work hard to keep event information accurate, but we aggregate data from third-party sources and cannot guarantee that every detail (dates, times, prices, availability) is correct or up to date. Events may be cancelled, rescheduled, or sold out without our knowledge.

Always verify event details with the venue or ticket seller before making plans. evntally is not liable for inaccurate event information, cancelled events, or any costs you incur based on information in our emails or website.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our curated event content for commercial purposes
• Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Intellectual property

The evntally name, logo, website design, email templates, and curation algorithms are our intellectual property. Event information itself (titles, dates, venues) belongs to the respective event organizers. You may share individual event links from our emails — that's the whole point.

9. Limitation of liability

evntally is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Nova Scotia, Canada.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use evntally after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
