evntally covers 115 cities: 40 in Canada and 75 in the United States. U.S. coverage is the 75 largest incorporated places in the Census Bureau's July 1, 2025 population estimates, from New York through Anchorage. We scan over 50 event sources daily — venue calendars, Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, city listings, community boards, and more. Our pipeline ingests, normalizes and deduplicates thousands of events, then our ranking picks the ones worth your time. We verify ticket links daily and filter out dead reseller URLs.
Yes. There are no ads, no sponsored placements and no pay-to-play listings. Your membership is the only thing we sell, so every pick is there because we think you'll actually want to go — whether that's a knitting circle, a philosophy debate night or a stadium show.
Yes. Members get picks that learn. After every event you save or attend, we send a one-tap "How was it?" and each answer teaches our algorithm what you love — the venues, the vibe, the price range, the nights, the niche stuff and the big nights out. Within a couple of weeks your Thursday picks sharpen noticeably, so we can recommend the events that make you fall in love with your city. Before then, we lean on your stated taste and the top-scored picks for your city.
No. Members get on-sale alerts, custom reminders on saved events, friend activity, deep-cut picks, and a full filterable catalogue at /discover. Free users get the Thursday digest only.
Never. We always link you to the official box office, venue, or original ticket platform. If a reseller URL is the only option, we flag it and fall back to the source page.
Rate events thumbs-down — we learn fast. Or reply to any email; a human reads every reply. If we still miss, cancel in one tap.
Eventbrite and Ticketmaster are ticketing platforms — they show you what they sell, ordered by what they want to sell. evntally is a curation layer across every source, including those two plus venue calendars, city blogs, and community boards. We don't have commercial reason to push any particular event.
Event data is refreshed daily from our ingestion pipeline. Every event page shows a 'Last verified' timestamp. Upcoming events are prioritized in our sitemap; recent past events stay available for search.

Hosting
Yes. Anyone can create an event on evntally for free, and you don't need a membership. Start at https://www.evntally.com/host/new — a name, a start time and a place are enough to publish, and you can fill in the rest later.
Your event gets its own page and appears on your city hub, the matching category page and the this-weekend page. The part that matters most: every member has an algorithm built around their own taste, and when it picks your event for their Thursday digest, that person already wants events like yours. Reach isn't for sale: members see your event because the matching thinks they'll love it, not because anyone paid.
No. Hosting is free, and there are no fees on free events. If you message your guests a lot, there's an optional Organizer plan (CA$25/mo in Canada, US$19/mo in the US) that raises the messaging limits. You never need it to host. Paid ticketing is coming later; until then you can link to tickets you already sell elsewhere.
Every event comes with a share card you can post anywhere, plus invites by text and email straight from your host dashboard. With free RSVP, people sign up on your event page with a name and an email, and each one lands on your guest list, where you can approve requests, see the waitlist and export the list. At the door, open door mode on your phone and check guests in by their code or by scanning their QR. For a private event, make it unlisted: it stays off public pages and the digest, and only people with the link can see it.
