WAYE: A Poetry Reading Series – Vol. 5, Episode 9

WAYE: A Poetry Reading Series is back three days before Halloween (10/28) with another group feature coming to us from one of NJ's longest running series. OUR FEATURED GROUP Red Wheelbarrow Poets, Inc. is a community of poets based in Rutherford NJ, home of William Carlos Williams, where it hosts a free monthly reading series and open mic in The Little Theatre at Felician University on the first Wednesday of every month. The group also hosts a free weekly poetry workshop on Zoom, and since 2007, they've been publishing an annual anthology of work by the community, and they just released RWB19 this month. FOR THE OPEN Sign-up for our open mic sessions begins at 7:30 PM. Once you arrive at Sure Things (561 Palisade Avenue), please print your name on the list, which has an initial cap of 15 poets who will each poet will have 5 minutes to showcase their work.
