About this Event

Join us at SMUSH Gallery in Jersey City on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 12:00–3:30 PM for a creative afternoon of sustainable fashion and hands-on design.

Bring a sweater, sweatshirt, cardigan, or another cozy clothing item from your closet and transform it into something uniquely yours. During this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore upcycling techniques using patches, fabric paint, embellishments, hand sewing, and other creative customization methods.

Whether you want to refresh an old favorite, repair a well-loved piece, or experiment with DIY fashion, the Sweater Weather Workshop is all about creativity, sustainability, and community.

This small-group workshop is limited to 12 participants, allowing time for personalized guidance. Meet fellow fashion and sustainability enthusiasts and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece rede
