About this event
🎩 The Importance of Being Earnest 🎩 Two bachelors. Two secret identities. Two very complicated love lives. And absolutely no reason to tell the truth when lying is so much more fun. Oscar Wilde's gloriously ridiculous comedy is coming to The Guild! Jack and Algernon have each invented an alter ego to get out of their responsibilities (and more than a few dinner parties). But when their worlds collide, the lies pile up, the romances get tangled, and Lady Bracknell has some very important questions. Expect sharp wit, absurd situations, outrageous characters, and enough social scandal to make Victorian society blush. 📍 The Guild, 111 Queen Street, Charlottetown 🎟️ Tickets: https://www.theguildpei.com Can't make this one? No need to invent a Bunbury. There are more chances to see the show on November 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15.
