The body becomes itself by joining with what it is not, with the world. What is this strange phenomenon and what kind of world and attitudes does it need? Hoff will try to figure these things out, exploring the significant political consequences of the fact that the body is not (really) an object. Presented by the Memorial University Department of Philosophy.
