Escape into an enchanting autumn wonderland at Silver Falls State Park! Fall is undeniably the most magical time of year to visit: the vine maples and bigleaf maples turn electric shades of gold, amber, and a touch of red, casting vibrant reflections across misty canyon pools and mossy basalt cliffs.

We’ll be taking the Silver Falls Lower Loop, one of the park’s most rewarding and scenic routes. This hike delivers maximum waterfall magic, where we'll see 7 of the 10 waterfalls at the park. We'll walk behind roaring cascades and into hidden cavern alcoves where we'll feel the cool breeze and thundering pulse of the falls up-close.
