About this event
Kid Calm is a hands-on skills group for children ages 7–10 designed to help them understand and manage big feelings while learning ways to calm their bodies and brains. Each week, children will learn a new coping skill and create a practical tool for their own Calm Kit to use when they need help finding calm. Parents will receive a binder with information about the skills and tools covered each week, along with a list of suggested items to further build the Calm Kit and support their child’s learning at home.
