Back Country Ski Tour or Split Board the Razorback to Mt Feathertop and Return. This tour is for experienced skiers only as it is along an exposed ridge the enitre trip. Skiers must use plastic cross country boots, metal edged skis or split boards, full crampons and be fully self contained with a backpack containing an appropriate tunnel tent, clothing, food, and gear being competent in navigation, We will ski from the Diamantina Hut along the Razorback Ridge to Mt Feathertop and tent beside Federation Hut. The dates will need to be flexible to optimise the best weather and ski conditions between 13-17 August 2026. Attendees must contact the trip leader before applying to attend and RSVP closes 5pm 9 August 2026. The trip fee is $20, plus travel costs of petrol, resort entry and chain hire will be shared by those carpooling.
