About this Event
White As Snow - Ottawa
After performing the show in New York City and across Canada, it felt fitting to come home to wrap up the tour. I am so excited to share this story with family and friends in the city that made me and started it all.-Rose-Ingrid
After a successful run in New York City this spring, comedian Rose-Ingrid Benjamin is bringing their powerful solo performance across Canada. 4 STARS - " ... a deeply personal yet thoroughly relatable journey of self-discovery... The performance is stunning, and the writing is as sharp as a knife..." The Edmonton Journal
Told from the perspective of a Haitian, Queer, eldest immigrant daughter, former worship leader and missionary, White As Snow tells the story of a young girl wrestling between two Gods. It is a tender reckoning with faith, family, identity, and the ways we come home to ourselves.
Ottawa multi-hyphenate Rose-Ing
