Wednesday night mystery hikes at Thetis Lake (main parking lot)

Why we picked it

Hello hikers, \*All of the weeknight hikes in June will be held at Thetis\* Come join us for an approximately 8-10km "mystery" hike. We will meet at the main parking lot at Thetis Lake by the split-rail fence near the ticket booth. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (let us know on the event wall if bringing a dog). \*Please arrive 5-10 minutes early - especially if it's your first event. We will wait a maximum of 5-10 minutes for latecomers. \*Note that it is pay parking at this time of year (bring cash or a credit card) We will be out for around 2.5 hours (return time is approximate - we'll be back before dark - Meetup insists we list the duration of the event!) This is moderate-paced hike with some rooty and rocky sections. Please wear sturdy hiking boots or shoes. Bring snacks, water, layered clothing and a headlamp or light as backup.
