About this event

Join ACAT and Native Movement next week Wednesday, following the closing of Elders & Youth with a water ceremony. 🌀Hear from Alaska Native leaders to affirm the importance of water as a sacred entity, and learn about the proposed data centers happening in Alaska. 🌀If you’re traveling to Anchorage, bring sacred water from your home communities. We will gather our water to a shared container and ceremonially return it back to the land. 🌀The water ceremony will be held outside at the Anchorage Delaney Park Strip, in front of the First Presbyterian Church as a warm-up spot for Elders and others who get cold. This is a 6 minute walk from the Dena’ina Center. WATER CEREMONY: 🌟 Wednesday, October 21 at 1:30 PM 🌟 Anchorage Delaney Park W 10th Ave — in front of First Presbyterian Church ** This is not associated with First Alaskans Institute ** Also check out other Nonprofit events in Anchorage.
