About this Event

If you're looking for something more creative than dinner and a movie in San Antonio, this Turkish mosaic lamp workshop gives you a glass lamp form, a table full of colorful tiles, and about 2 hours to make something you'll keep for years. After a quick look at traditional Turkish designs, you'll choose from ready-made templates and gather the colors you want to work with. From there, it's hands-on: placing glass tiles and beads one at a time, with your instructor nearby to help with pattern ideas and technique. Between tiles, sip complimentary Turkish coffee and enjoy traditional baklava, a small taste of the hospitality that goes with this craft. Bring a date, your friends, your coworkers, or your family. It works as well for a birthday or bachelorette as it does for a holiday party or team-building day. Kids 8 and up are welcome with an adult. Sessions take place at Working Moms of S
