Why we picked it
Get ready to unleash your creativity with a fun, hands-on mixed-media art session! To celebrate Environment Week you'll create a recycled piece of art using materials we already have – turning everyday items into something special and learning how to keep products and resources in use for longer. You’ll get to play with found objects, textile scraps, magazines, and even treasures from the recycling bin to create a unique collage or assemblage on canvas. All materials are provided, but feel free to bring along a small ‘treasure’ (think coin, button, or marble-sized) to add a personal touch to your piece! Brought to you by the our Eco Centre and Environment teams, and inspired by our Nooks & Crannies Festival, which begins in July!
