Toronto Met Film Festival
Why we picked it
The Toronto Met Film Fest (TMFF) is a week-long festival that culminates in two night time screenings of the 2026 Toronto Metropolitan University Image Arts Thesis Films. Over the course of fourth year, the Image Arts graduating class embarked on the journey of putting together 14 short films over the course of 8 months. Each individual film highlights their innovative voices, supportive teams, and visionary storytelling. TMFF gives these emerging filmmakers an opportunity to screen their films in a professional, meaningful way. Beyond just a screening, the two-night showcase is a celebration of perseverance, dedication, and four years of growing into passionate artists. By supporting TMFF, viewers not only get the opportunity to experience new voices within the Toronto film sphere, but also have the chance to honour, commemorate, and congratulate the hard work of each film?s cast and crew.
