About this event

The Back Door Salon celebrates our eighth salon with a discussion and raising funds to tackle local food insecurity concerns.

About this Event

The Back Door Salon VIII brings together local leaders and organizers to discuss impacts of food insecurity and the many reasons "why" it continues to persist. Many communities - locally, nationally, and globally - experience food insecurity for reasons seen and unseen, so join us on Thursday, November 19th - a week before one of the United States' most celebrated food-centered holidays - to discuss this issue and be part of a solution.
