Three distinctive voices come together for The Art of Protest, an intimate evening of songs, stories, and music that refuses to remain silent. Performing in the round, Bill Valenti, Darka Dusty, and Patrick Tovatt will trade songs and perspectives, exploring the power of music to question, challenge, unite, and inspire change. Join us at Singacoustic on Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 PM for a timely night of courage, conscience, and connection.
Bill Valenti, is a Portland, Oregon songwriter who believes in the power of the protest song to inspire political activism. He launched the Art of the Protest Song project in 2012, and has produced 30 performances around the country, focused on political, social, economic and environmental issues.
