Sunday Afternoon Hike and Brew! Meet at Minnesota River Bottoms!

Please join us on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Bloomington for a fun hike along and near the Minnesota River. We'll head west along the river to the rope ferry, cross over to Nine Mile Creek and return to Lyndale Avenue. See how many eagles you can spot along the river!

Please arrive by 2:50 pm. We will start hiking at 3:00 pm. We do not wait for latecomers. It will be a great afternoon of hiking and drinking beer! What better way to spend a winter Sunday afternoon!

This will be a moderately paced hike (approx. 16.5 to 18 minute miles). We will hike a route approximately 5.3 miles in length, depending on the weather, trail conditions and the decision of the leaders. There will be an option for a 4 mile hike.
