Raise and weave your voice in a community song circle/ informal harmony workshop celebrating Hope and resilience. Easy-to-learn, harmony-rich songs and chants that lift the heart and soul, taught by call and response in the oral tradition, with song leader Sylvia Humble. April Laurie brings a splash of fun, accessible improvised circle singing and groovy percussion. Move with the syncopated rhythms and sink into the blissful sound. All voices belong, regardless of background – it’s about joy and connection, not perfection. We will have a break for ginger tea so please bring a mug ; feel for you to step out onto Departure Bay Beach or the park beside us! This waterfront community hall has history, great energy, and marvellous acoustics for singing!
