About this event

She’s the most decorated track and field Olympian in history - and the most powerful chapter of her story unfolds far from the finish line.

She Runs the World is the acclaimed documentary featuring Allyson Felix: her rise, her reinvention and her refusal to shrink to fit anyone’s idea of what a woman, an athlete or a mother is allowed to be. When her sponsor moved to cut her pay and refused to guarantee maternity protections, she spoke out publicly — sparking industry-wide changes that rewrote the rules for women in sport. Her most personal fight began after she nearly lost her life giving birth, and it made her one of the nation’s leading voices for Black maternal health.

Now the film is on a special HBCU tour — and it’s coming to N.C. A&T! Join Allyson in person, alongside Wes Felix - her brother and manager, for a screening and live conversation about sport, motherhood, health and building a legacy that outlasts the medals. Be apart of the North Carolina A&T community in amplifyin
