**San Diego IEEE Consultants' Network October 2026 Meeting ("Away Game")**

This month we will be on the UCSD campus (with complementary parking!) supporting their **Institute for the Global Entrepreneur (IGE)** and keeping in mind that they are always looking for mentors for their entrepreneurs.

This showcase puts you in the room with UCSD Engineering, Med

Tech, and MBA startups transitioning out of graduate research labs and into the commercial market. It’s a great place to swap technical insights directly with the founders, talk through their actual scaling bottlenecks, or explore technical advisory board and mentor roles. Even if you are just looking to see what’s coming out of the labs right now, it’s a low-pressure way to connect with the local deep-tech ecosystem and help guide the next wave of innovators.
