Saskatoon CBA Toastmasters: Communication and Leadership Practice (7pm SK time)

Why we picked it

NOTE: Starts at 7:00 pm SK time (Meetup may show the wrong time as it assumes we follow daylight savings even though we don't). • What we'll do: Jumping into a Toastmasters meeting for your first time is exciting, commendable and bold. Each meeting follows a regular schedule of events and is facilitated by the Chairperson. The Word of the Day and theme of the meeting is presented and the goal is to use the word of the day and the theme throughout the meeting. We first have a quick round of introductions from everyone, followed by a fun game to loosen up and prepare for the rest of the meeting. The speaking portion of the meeting begins with "Table Topics" where we give short, 1-2 minute answers in response to questions given by the Table Topics Master. This practice helps us to think on our feet and organize our ideas quickly. We will get to hear some prepared speeches as well, given by Toastmaster members. These speeches will then be evaluated by fellow Toastmasters where the speak
