Free admission. All are welcome! $5 donation requested with class participation. Sign up upon arrival. Come enjoy a restorative day in nature! Activities including forest bathing, yoga, Tai Chi, meditation and a medicinal plant walk will be taking place throughout the afternoon. At 2pm, Enjoy an all-ages yoga session with local author Melissa Baker, featuring a reading of her book The Wise Ones. Local wellness practitioners and organizations will be offering education and connection in the arboretum from 12-4pm. Art and live music will be woven throughout the day with a new installation from Hannah Demma, a tree-cooking painting activity and demonstrations of aromatic plant distillation and botanical dye. Local chamber ensemble Leaves Brown will be performing at 4pm and food from Pepe's Bistro and The Corner Kitchen will be available for purchase from 12-4pm.
