What actually happens at an Estuary?

An Estuary is a two-hour conversation, but not just any conversation. We especially welcome people from different ideological backgrounds, different religions, different political persuasions, and different perspectives on current events. We appreciate intellectual diversity, intellectual honesty, and free expression.

Our goal is to listen and learn, and perhaps even learn to love.

How does it work?

* We use a structured protocol that encourages mutual respect and openness to new ideas

* There is no pre-determined agenda and nobody comes with a prepared lesson

* Each participant proposes a topic and the group votes on which topics to discuss

* Every session is unique
