About this event

Do you live on or around Rice St? Do you support walkable, vibrant neighborhoods? We need your help! This Thursday (10/22) at 6pm at the North End Community Center the city is hosting a public engagement meeting about the expansion of mixed-use "T-Districts" along Rice St. If you value walkability, thriving small businesses, and more housing on Rice St, show up in support of a more ambitious rezoning by advocating for more T3 at critical nodes and less carveouts for gas stations and other car-centric uses. RSVP https://forms.gle/eFMyyTmXxpEe4Lp For a deeper dive into why you should care about the expansion of T-Districts, be sure to read this article from our 3-part series by Co-Chair Luke Hanson. https://www.sustainstpaul.org/news/tzoningexpansion Still hoping to learn more? Join us this coming Wednesday, 10/21 at 7pm for a virtual workshop on T-Districts and how YOU can help bring more local businesses and abundant housing to your neighborhood.🛍️☕️🏘️ https://actionnetwork.org/event
