One of the ?most beautiful creations in all of French music?, Ravel?s Second Suite from Daphnis and Chloe lushly depicts a love that survives against all odds. Unifying visuals with sound, ?beautifully nuanced? artist Alex Sopp creates a stop-motion animated film to accompany Janá?ek?s Sinfonietta. Czech melodies and dance rhythms combined with the sound of an enormous brass ensemble and full orchestra unite this piece in a way that is revolutionary to this day. For the enjoyment of all patrons, children under 6 are not permitted to attend.
