Qoya is a women's embodiment practice based on the idea that through movement, we remember. We remember that our essence as women is like nature - wise, wild, and free. Wise, Wild, and Free also describe the movement forms we explore in class. Wise: calling on the wisdom of yoga, meditation, ritual, and contemplation. Wild: celebrating the creative and authentic expression in dance. Free: the freedom to feel pleasure in the body through feminine or sensual movement by finding and following what feels nourishing to you.
