Pułaski Day Commemoration

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 Join the 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 as we gather for our annual Pułaski Day Commemoration. In 1778, the young Polish Count Kazimierz Pułaski raised his famous cavalry unit 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮! Today, he is remembered as the '𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗿𝘆' for giving his life for American independence. As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we are incredibly proud to honor his bravery. We also want to remember and thank the diverse coalition of everyday people - of different nationalities, faiths, and backgrounds - who united across the colonies to support the struggle for freedom and equality. This is a 𝘁𝘄𝗼-𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, moving from a traditional ceremony at Patterson Park to a special reception at the Polish Home Club. 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 | 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗰
