About this event
Knitting and other needlework is beneficial to your mental health, lowering stress and reducing anxiety. The steady movement of the needles helps slow your nervous system, lower cortisol levels, and ease anxious thoughts. While the repetitive motion cann enhance the release of serotonin, counting stitches and watching patterns form anchors attention to the present moment, acting as a meditative break.
Bring your knitting, crocheting or other handwork, or use the coloring and crafting supplies that will be available, as we enjoy snacks, conversation, silence, and each other’s company.
