About this event
Create a wearable leather collar, cuff or harness for Pride at the Museum of Vancouver with Indigiqueer artist Night. During this hands-on leatherworking session participants will be introduced to foundational leather techniques in a supportive, accessible studio environment. Alongside the making process, we will talk about the history and cultural significance of leather within 2SLGBTQ+ communities, including its role in identity and belonging. This workshop is best suited for those who are 18+. Part of the MOV’s series of Indigenous Artisan Workshops. Date: Sunday, August 30, 2026 Time: 12:30pm-5:00pm Location: Museum of Vancouver Tickets: $125 for General Admission $120 for LGBTQ+ Community/Students/Seniors $115 for Self-Identifying 2S & Indigenous (plus fees and taxes)
