Learn what to plant from tulips to garlic, how to plant them and yes, even a few pointers on squirrels!   Wednesday, September 23, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Public $20, TBG Members $15 (plus applicable taxes and fees)   About Joanna Blanchard Joanna Blanchard has been a member of the Toronto Master Gardeners for just over 15 years. She was introduced to horticulture and gardening almost from birth, since her father was a botany professor and her mother a plant pathologist! Throughout her childhood the talk at the dinner table was often about plants, and visiting gardens and garden centres were part of daily life. Despite her best teenaged efforts to repel the gardening bug she was unsuccessful!   As soon as Joanna came to Canada from the UK, she got going with houseplants, flower boxes and books about plants.
