Who's ready to get all like peaceful and stuff, man? It'll be like our own little hippie retreat just without the ayahuasca and the tie-dye parachute pants. Nestled in the Keystone Hills in-between Shell Lake and the Keystone Ancient Forest, the Osage Forest of Peace offers serene hiking amongst pristine, old-growth Cross Timbers forest that's only about 1.5 hours from OKC. Since this hike is in late October, the Fall foliage ought to be quite nice as well. We will meet at the address listed above before hiking 4 to 4.5 miles in total. About 3.5 of those miles will be on the hiking trail and about 0.5 miles to 1 mile will be for exploring the property grounds.
