Why we picked it

The intention of this open Michelle is to be a space for under-recognized voices in the Vancouver comedy scene and the community has helped identify who we think those people are based on the lived experiences of our collective as it stands now. We acknowledge that this is not an exhaustive list and welcome your input. We understand this means we are asking for comics to reflect on their evolving identities and whether this space is for them. If you need any support in figuring this out please do reach out to a human you trust or it can be one of us if that feels right for you.
