Nostalgia Noir: A PINS Boutique Burlesque Show & Speakeasy

CURIOUSITY IS SEDUCTIVE

About this Event

Presented by CRay

Project and Deep

Date:

There's a door on Ocean Boulevard that opens one night this fall. Behind it: a speakeasy, low light, a bar with its own vocabulary, a stage where four artists take up every inch of themselves in front of you, and a room built so you can do a smaller, braver version of the same thing.

Nostalgia Noir borrows the energy of the speakeasy. Hidden doors, late-night glamour, music, a little rebellion, and the freedom to be someone slightly different on the other side. What it doesn't borrow is the idea that any of it happens to you. Nothing here is accidental. Every reveal on stage, every card you write, every dare you take or don't, is chosen. You'll feel that before anyone explains it.

The CRay

Project has spent a decade giving Black and Brown artists a stage to be exactly themselves, raw and unedited. Deep
