Join me for a short, easy hike at the Northeast Swale and Crocus Prairie on Sunday, May 10th (Mother's Day), total estimated distance of about 7 kms. Check out the Meewasin website for a description and map of the North East Swale [(](https://meewasin.com/meewasin-northeast-swale-2/)[Northeast Swale](https://meewasin.com/northeastswale/)[)](https://meewasin.com/meewasin-northeast-swale-2/), Crocus Prairie is a short stroll down to and along the river, with a very good chance that the crocuses will still be in bloom. Please note that part of our hike will be along the road (Fedoruk Drive) to get from the recreational area to the ecological zone trail which is mown and has several archeaological markers and great views from the top of low hills. We'll return to our cars on a gravel road (Agra Road) on the north side of the recreational zone and go through a gate to join the north side of the recreational trail back to the parking lot.
