The University Choir and Chamber Choir are the two choral ensemble on the Edinburg campus that studies and performs a wide variety of choral music, from madrigals and folk songs to modern arrangements and masterpieces. Directed by Dr. Matthew Coffey, who is an Assistant Professor of Choral Studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where he directs the University Choir and teaches courses in conducting and secondary choral methods.
