Milwaukee Contact Improvisation dance class and safer brave jam

Interested in Contact Improvisation - either trying it for the first time, or digging in a bit deeper to expand your dancing? Join the new Milwaukee Contact Improvisation Jam - a safer and braver space! The jam will include a workshop by Daniel Burkholder - Associate Professor and Chair of the UW-Milwaukee Dept of Dance, and a dance with over 30 years of experience with Contact Improvisation. Following the class there will be a jam - an open time to explore and expand on the skills introduced in class. ----------------------------------------------------------- Michele Beaulieux, Jim Brugger, Emma Kathryn, and Marcel Tassara are organizing this monthly jam. The community agreement we drafted for creating a safer brave jam explains what Contact Improv is and what to expect at the jam. We ask that participants read and agree to the draft agreement before attending. Afterward the class and jam, join us down the street at Nessun Dorma for brunch and discussion.
