When I was planning our walks, I was surprised to see that we hadn't been to MacAulay Point for over 3 years. So it's time to remedy that with a lovely stroll around one of the best places in Victoria for views across the Salish Sea. As I've mentioned previously, even though we're all Victorians, many locals don't know about MacAulay Point and Saxe Point. If you've never been there before, you should know that these are mostly flat, very easy walks that are good for walkers of any ability. Our walk on Saturday is officially just the MacAulay Point section. This section - which will take about 40 - 45 minutes - will be around MacAulay Point, where military battlements from WW2 are hidden among the native vegetation. However, after the official MacAulay Point section of the walk, Tidbit and I will be continuing to beautiful Saxe Point - the 2nd section of the walk, and I hope many of you will join us. This adds about 30 to 35 minutes to the walk, making the whole walk about 80 minutes
