About this event
Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, singer-songwriter Hannah Green blends folk, alternative and indie influences into an intimate, atmospheric sound built around honest songwriting and storytelling.
Her 2024 debut album, Moving Fast in Slow Motion, explores themes of love, loss and the bittersweet transition from childhood to adulthood. The album’s single “Open Your Eyes” climbed to #1 on the East Coast Top 30, where it stayed for an impressive 15 consecutive weeks.
Hannah’s music has also earned recognition from Music
NL, with nominations for Alternative Artist of the Year and Rising Star of the Year in 2024, followed by a Folk Artist of the Year nomination in 2025.
With music that moves between quiet folk intimacy and a more expansive indie sound, Hannah brings thoughtful songwriting and a distinctly East Coast voice.
