Why we picked it

Title says it all! Oshawa Botanical Garden on Arena St. We try to get the spot right next to the creek on the Arena St side. There are picnic tables now. Bring a lawn chair, bring a lawn game, bring beverages. Telestrations in lawn chairs. Charades. Throw beanbags or stick games. It's always a lot of fun! The park has no washroom. But Tim's and Harvey's are a short drive away. No car? no worries, someone will give you a ride. Someone will want a coffee or ice cap.
