Why we picked it
The documentary "Let Me Chase This Dream" features Tofino's own cold-water surf photographer, Bryanna Bradley. After a traumatic brain injury (TBI) while shooting in Mexico in 2022, she decided to heal by walking the 5,000-kilometer Continental Divide Trail from the U.S.-Mexico border to Canada. The film highlights her resilience, vulnerability, and the long road to recovery. Directed by Cristóbal Ruiz of Pachamama, the documentary captures both the physical toll of a 170-day thru-hike and the emotional return to the ocean. The documentary will be followed by a short Q&A with Bryanna Bradley
