Hi Gang, **UPDATE:** I went over to Latoria Creek Park earlier this week and discovered that part of the route we were going to do is now a construction zone! Waaakkk! So, we'll have to re-route which means a **DIFFERENT STARTING POINT** than originally posted.... We'll do the walk that we did 2 years ago, which means meeting at the **SOUTH** end of Latoria Creek Park. Take Metchosin Road to Pelican Drive. For your GPS, the closest house is **389 Pelican Dr.** That's about 75 meters from the trailhead. Street parking is available on Pelican Drive (or you could park right on Metchosin Road, if you prefer.) *Don't enter "Latoria Creek Park" on your GPS as that could take you to the wrong starting place.* As you may know, Latoria Creek Park is a 23 acre parcel of forested land located on the border of Colwood and Metchosin. Shaded by large big leaf maple and Douglas fir trees, the well groomed trail meanders through the forest and advent of fall is beginning to show on our route. Duri
