About this event

Land of the Beats is a modern retelling of The Nutcracker. WDX has taken some of your favourite characters such as the Sugarplum Fairy and brought her back to life as DJ Sugar P. Uncle Drosselmeyer is now MC Dross, the host of the Christmas Eve Dance Battle. The Rats and Rat King are a rough and tough gang outside of the club known as “The Rat Pack”. After a fight between siblings, and a duel in the alley where the Nutcracker comes to the rescue, Clara ends up finding herself traveling to the Land of the Beats (Land of the Sweets) where she learns dance is not about competition but about celebration!
