L-BLOCK OPEN HOUSE We’ve heard you: Calgary needs more affordable, accessible spaces for artists to rehearse, create and perform. In partnership with Allied, the owner of the Lougheed, The GRAND is exploring how L-Block could help respond to that need, expanding access to space for Calgary’s creative community and creating new opportunities for artists and arts organizations. On September 10, we’re opening the doors and inviting artists, makers, cultural organizations and the wider public to come inside, explore the building and picture what could happen here. Throughout the evening, artists and makers will share work alongside food, music and opportunities to meet some of the people making and presenting work across Calgary.
