Celebrate Filipino food, art, movies, books, dances and songs at the inaugural Jeepney Festival on Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 at the Maranatha Church located at 100 College St. West in Belleville, Ontario! On Friday, explore art work by Filipino artists from the Philippine Artists Group of Canada and watch “Outsiderness”: a Filipino movie that explores themes such as identity and belonging. On Saturday, celebrate Filipino culture through cultural performances, with featured dancers from Culture Philippines of Ontario, traditional children’s games, parol (Filipino lantern) making, baybayin calligraphy, and more activities. Buy Filipino clothing and souvenirs and sample delicious Filipino food at our vendors from 12 to 8 pm. Get to know Filipino authors at a roundtable discussion, and learn immigration tips from QLIP (Quinte Local Immigration Partnership) at the immigration roundtable. It won’t be a Filipino festival without karaoke, so sing your heart out from 4 to 8
