About this event

All about Chains

Fridays 9:30am – 12:30pm

October 16 – December 11 (8 Classes)

No class November 27

$312 + $20 materials fee

In this course, students will explore the art of chain making by creating a series of distinctive, handcrafted chains. Through in-depth demonstrations, we’ll examine a range of historical and contemporary styles—including classic paper-clip links, historical Etruscan loop-in-loop chains, and Cuban links. Students will produce samples of each technique before selecting one style to develop into a full-length chain in silver.

This class is designed for intermediate students only, who are comfortable soldering and ready to refine their technical skills.
