Why we picked it

Tiffin Talks is a dialogue series that brings together diverse thought leaders, artists, innovators, and change makers across disciplines. Panelists gather to exchange knowledge, share projects and ideas, then join the audience for a warm, nourishing meal. Following each 45-minute presentation, enjoy delicious Indian-style tiffin meals. Guests are invited to connect, share what they’ve learned, and leave feeling full: in their hearts, minds, and stomachs. This year, Indian Summer Festival has three Tiffin Talks on offer: 12:00pm: Reclaiming the Bloom: Pattern, Myth, and the Feminine In a Tiffin Talk moderated by Jas Lally, Keerat Kaur and Manjot Kaur reflect on their relationships with the natural world, and how they as artists work with floral imagery and botanical patterning as a form of reclamation. 3:00pm: Grammars of Return How might we think of grammars of return through language, water, and intergenerational inheritances?
