Why we picked it
Explore the rich history of the Guelph Correctional Centre (Ontario Reformatory) built in 1910 and decommissioned in 2002. Meeting at the York Road entrance, we will walk the grounds (outside) and learn about the development and past of each of the existing buildings and notorious events which occurred on these grounds, including stories of previous inmates, residents and employees. Tours are approximately 1.5 hours in duration. Tour is OUTDOORS ONLY. Parking on York Street in designated areas (approximately 100ft west of the entrance on the south side of York Rd.) We will be offering tours by reservation only. To book your tour, click on the Book Now tab and reserve your space. RESERVATIONS ARE RECCOMENDED AS SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
