  The Great Composers Concert is a standout event that celebrates the timeless brilliance of classical music. Featuring exceptional performances of works by some of the world’s most renowned composers, this concert offers an inspiring experience for music lovers and the Piedmont University community. We are proud to present this remarkable showcase of musical talent year after year and to share the beauty of these masterpieces with our students, faculty, and guests. This year's Great Composers Concert will feature the Piedmont University Chorale performing Lux Aeterna, a masterwork by the contemporary American composer Morten Lauridsen. The Piedmont University Singers will also perform a few selections by other contemporary composers. Both choral ensembles are directed by Bobby Ivey, Piedmont University Assistant Professor and Director of Choirs. The Great Composers Concert will be performed on Saturday, April 25th, at 7:30 PM in the Piedmont University
