About this event

What does it take to turn university research into real-world innovation?

Join Edmonton Unlimited and the University of Alberta Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) for the Graduate Research Commercialization Challenge: Final Showcase, where graduate students will present the commercialization potential of their research to a multidisciplinary panel of judges. This event is presented in partnership with the GSA, reflecting our shared commitment to supporting graduate student innovation and research commercialization.

The challenge brings together MSc and PhD students from across the University of Alberta to explore how their research could be translated into products, services, technologies or new ventures that address real-world challenges.

At the Final Showcase, selected finalists will deliver 5-minute pitches highlighting the practical applications of their research, the problems they aim to solve and the opportunities for commercialization.
